Can Tho city: solemnly organized a joss-stick offering ceremony towards the Death Anniversary of Hung Kings

On April 5th, at Can Tho Museum, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism together with Can Tho Television and Broadcasting Station organized a joss-stick offering ceremony towards the death anniversary of Hung Kings to express the gratitude of officials, solders and many people in Can Tho to commemorate Hung Kings.
An artistic performance commemorated Hung Kings at the ceremony.

Attending the ceremony, there were former leaders of Hau Giang, Can Tho province, Can Tho city in different periods; leaders of Southwest Committee; Party Committee; People’s Council; People’s Committee; Vietnam Fatherland and Front; representatives of departments, boards, divisions of Can Tho districts and a larger number of people in the city.

The representatives of leaders attended the ceremony.

Mr. Le Van Tam, Standing Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho city spoke at the ceremony.

In the solemn atmosphere of the joss-stick offering ceremony, Mr. Le Van Tam reviewed the history in building the nation of Hung Kings; the tradition to build and defend the  nation of the Vietnamese. Also, he called on compatriots, solders to promote the tradition of Lac Hong’s descendants and carry out the political duties of the City’s Party in 2017. In the ceremony, the leaders of the city, districts offered regional specialties to Hung Kings.

The representatives of leaders offered joss-sticks to commemorate Hung Kings.

Mr. Vo Thanh Thong, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho city offered joss-sticks to Hung Kings.
