The conference will focus on some aspects, such as: co-operation in development of transport, health, education and climate change (mainly on ODA); local co-operation in culture, tourism and labor; economic co-operation in agricultural investment (agricultural production, processing and products)

By this event, the investment co-operation of the localities in the Mekong Delta and Japanese partners will be developed. Also, it will promote the image, potention and tourism of Can Tho city, contributing to the economic cultural and social development of the city which is suitable with the trend of integration from the attraction in investment of Japanese partners. Especially, the conference aims to enhance the investment co-operation of the localities in the Mekong Delta and Japanese partners and promote deeping strategic partnerships between the two countries, Japan and Vietnam.

It is expected that about 300- 400 participants who will be representatives of Japanese organizations and enterprises in Vietnam; partners, enterprises and representatives of local governments form Japan; leaders of ministries, departments and localities in the Mekong Delta attending the event.

 At this times, the preparation for the conference, such as: program, propaganda, logistics, reception and so on, is basically finished. The Organizing Board continues to review the tasks as planned to ensure that the conference will be held successfully, creating a premise for the Investment Promotion Conference 2018, which is expected to take place on August 10, 2018 in Can Tho city.
