The department of Information and Communications is the professional department under the CanTho People’s Committee control. Its functions is to help People’s Committee in State management of the press, publication, post and mail services; telecommunications and internet; broadcasting, information technology, electronics; media; media infrastructure, newspaper advertisement, internet services (abbreviated as Information and communications). It’s also responsible for public services that belong to the scope of the department and carries out some duties, authorities according to the arrangement and the commission of People’s Committee and current law.
