Mekong Explorer Travel and Events Company Limited (Mekong Explorer) has recently launched a new river tourism product called "Check-in Can Tho by Canoe" since the end of January 2024. This tour is designed for tourists who have a limited amount of time but still want to experience the iconic destinations of Can Tho. In just two hours, visitors can explore and check in at Can Tho Bridge, Can Tho Pedestrian Bridge (so-called love bridge), Khai Luong Canal, Ninh Kieu Wharf, and Cai Khe Market.

According to Ms. Dang Thai Hien from Ninh Kieu district, this is the first time she has experienced a river trip in Can Tho by canoe. She previously took a boat to Cai Rang floating market, but the canoe ride brought a new, strange, and more interesting experience. This journey also gave her a new perspective on Can Tho, from the bustling Ninh Kieu Wharf to a quiet space with cool trees next to the green resort, in just five minutes. This journey offers an impressive panorama of Can Tho from Can Tho Bridge to Ninh Kieu Wharf and the poetic canals. This check-in tour itinerary is suitable for both international tourists and locals who want to explore Can Tho in an impressive way.

One of the tourists who experienced the Can Tho check-in tour product by canoe was Ms. Huynh Thi Thao from An Phu ward, Ninh Kieu district. She shared that traveling by canoe from big rivers to small canals and then returning to the big river gave her a strange and interesting feeling. This journey helped her clearly see the development of Can Tho City with a modern pace of life, which was both peaceful and charming. What impressed her the most on this journey was the beautiful, calm, and fresh space while moving slowly into the canals. She also experienced thrilling feelings due to the bends in the river.​

Visitors can join check-in tours that depart every Saturday.
