Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City Nguyen Thuc Hien said that the local Government of Can Tho has assigned various departments and agencies to plan and ensure accommodation facilities, social order, traffic safety, food hygiene, and pandemic prevention for delegates during the Festival. Additionally, they will strengthen propaganda about the Festival. The People's Committee of Can Tho City will also enhance close coordination with the Ministry of Education and Training to ensure the preparations for successfully organizing the Festival.

Mr. Tran Van Dat, Director of the Department of Political Education and Student Affairs under the Ministry of Education and Training, reported on the preparations for the upcoming festival. The festival will take place from May 11th to May 13th, 2024, at Can Tho University. The Steering Committee has sent invitations to approximately 700 guests and coordinated with Can Tho University and relevant agencies to well prepared for the upcoming festival.

Within the framework of the festival, key activities at the festival include an opening ceremony, exhibitions on startup products, forums and conferences on supporting startups among students, and the final round of a startup contest for students.

Feasible ideas and startup projects from students will be selected and supported in moving forward to improve the development of a startup ecosystem.

Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi said that the festival aims to encourage the participation of tertiary establishments in supporting students in startup and career consultancy while boosting a startup spirit and aspirations among students.

After working with the local Government of Can Tho City, she stated that the preparations for the Festival were currently on schedule, according to the inspection work carried out. She also highly appreciated Can Tho City People’s Committee and relevant agencies for good preparation and coordination, which will ensure a successful festival.

In addition, Deputy Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Thi Kim Chi suggested relevant agencies focus on ensuring security and order while preventing errors from occurring.
