At the reception, Mr. Ory Csaba, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary in Viet Nam, said that the construction of Can Tho City Oncology Hospital takes too long, thus leading to a delay in the completion of the project. Therefore, the Hungarian government is willing to meet directly with Can Tho city to exchange information, promptly solve existing problems, and speed up the construction of the hospital.

Additionally, Ambassador Mr. Ory Csaba adds that the Hungarian government is offering many scholarships for Vietnamese students to study in Hungary. He also hopes that once the pandemic situation is under control, scholarships for Vietnamese students to study abroad in Hungary will be available.

Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, thanked the Government of Hungary for the support of the Can Tho Oncology Hospital project in recent years. Chairman Tran Viet Truong agrees with Ambassador Ory Csaba on a direct talk related to the progress of the Can Tho Oncology Hospital project. According to Chairman Tran Viet Truong, the project plays an important role in the socio-economic development of the city. Therefore, the city’s government will create all conditions to accelerate the project implementation progress. “This is not only a project bearing the mark of the Vietnam - Hungary friendship but also meets the expectations of the people in the city and in the region in terms of healthcare”, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City stressed.

Besides, Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, is also looking forward to receiving Hungarian support in the fields of education and training, cultural and sports exchange, etc.
