Tourists should visit Cai Rang floating market in the morning. The market opens at 5am, becomes vibrant from 6am to 8am and ends gradually after that. Visitors often come here early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and experience the hustle and bustle atmosphere of the market.

At the floating market, you can have breakfast, drink coffee and buy some fruits. The common dishes for breakfast here are hủ tiếu (Vietnamese rice noodle in pork broth), bún riêu cua (Vietnamese crab noodle soup) and cháo lòng (Vietnamese pork organ porridge).

At noon, you can visit Muoi Cuong cocoa garden. Here, tourists can experience the stages of producing cocoa products and try some delicious dishes made from cocoa.

This cocoa factory has started its operation since the 1960s. Currently, Muoi Cuong garden has an area of over 1.2 hectares with more than 2,000 cacao trees. While many households in the Mekong Delta are no longer interested in doing business from cocoa tree because of the unstable market and prices, Mr. Quan's family is still attached to the profession.

You can visit the cocoa garden from 7am to 12am every day. The garden offers a variety of products made from cocoa which visitors can buy as gifts such as cocoa flour, candy, chocolate, juice, etc.

After lunch, tourists continue to explore Tay Do (The Western Capital) in an over a hundred-year-old house near the Binh Thuy canal. This is one of the most beautiful architectural works in the Western region of Vietnam. From the city center, you can rent a motorbike or take a taxi to Bui Huu Nghia Street, Binh Thuy Ward.

Binh Thuy Communal house is becoming more and more famous after many famous movies were filmed here namely Những nẻo đường phù sa (alluvial roads), Người đẹp Tây Đô (Miss Tay Do), Nợ đời (The debt of life), Người tình (The lover or L’amant) ... Many tourists come here out of curiosity for the ancient architecture from hundred years ago but still preserved intact to this day.

In the afternoon, tourists can rest in Azerai Can Tho. This isolated resort is located on Con Au river islet, Hung Phu ward, Cai Rang district which is about 12 km from Can Tho airport and about 1.2 km from Ninh Kieu quay. Currently, canoe is the only means of transport to get to Azerai Can Tho and the trip takes less than 5 minutes.

Opened in December 2017, Azerai Can Tho has a total of 60 bungalows scattered on the river islet.
