Readers to Be Most Facilitated to Join the 3rd Can Tho Book Fair 2019

Stalls are set up in the pavilion and aisles are also covered. Moreover, free wi-fi, 24/7 security patrol and surveillance cameras provide readers, businesses and organizations with the optimum conditions to join the 3rd Can Tho Book Fair 2019.
Mr. Do Hoang Trung - Director of Can Tho City Department of Information and Communications cum Standing Vice Chairman of the Organization Department of the Book Fair is speaking at the customer conference.

To prepare for the 3rd Book Fair, a customer conference was held in Ho Chi Minh City on January 9th, 2019. In his speech, Mr. Do Hoang Trung said, the last two Book Fairs were successful and greatly supported by readers, book publishing and printing units as well as domestic and foreign cultural communications companies. The 3rd Can Tho Book Fair 2019 is expected to supply readers with valuable resources and interesting books. With much experience from the previous Book Fairs, the Organizing Board of the 3rd Book Fair are ready to bring a comfortable reading zone to participants by setting up the stalls in the pavilion and covering the aisles with sunshield nets. In addition, 24/7 surveillance cameras are installed; the security patrol tightened; fire prevention and fighting set as the paramount importance. These arrangements ensure that the Book Fair goes smoothly.

The theme of the 3rd Can Tho Book Fair 2019 with the theme is Books - Knowledge, Development and Integration", and takes place at Luu Huu Phuoc Park, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City in seven days (from March 23rd, to 31st, 2019). This is a meaningful biannual event to propagate Vietnamese Book Day (April 21st), foster the value of books, affirm their significance in social life as well as stimulate and develop reading culture in the community.

The Book Fair includes exhibitions of books and thematic documents; trade in books and cultural products; talk shows; forums; exchange programs; contests of book propaganda; artistic performances and campaigns launched to collect and donate books to libraries, reading rooms, schools in rural or difficult areas.
