Participants in the program are businesses working in the tourism industry in Can Tho city. According to the stimulus program, Can Tho city focuses on maximizing the domestic tourism market such as the Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh City, Southeast region of Vietnam, Hanoi, Hai Phong, Nghe An, Thanh Hoa, and so on. The stimulus program is divided into groups such as travel businesses, tourist accommodation services, tourist destinations, transportation, foods and drinks, shopping, healthcare, entertainment, etc. The municipal authorities also determine to strengthen communication, promotion, and recognition of the theme “Can Tho - Safe and warm” to popularize the program.

This is the second time this year, Can Tho has implemented a tourism stimulus program. The purpose of this program is to focus on attracting tourists, connecting businesses providing tourism services, forming a chain of tourism products to stimulate demand. Furthermore, this is also a practical program to help tourism businesses in the city recover after the COVID-19 pandemic is under control.
