Accordingly, journalist Tran Hoang Tuyen, Deputy Director of Business Studies and Assistance Center (BSA) introduced the regenerative tourism for the locals on Cồn Sơn islet. The seminar mainly focuses on how to preserve and exploit tourism from natural resources based on the indigenous knowledge and the responsibility of environmental protection; sharing lessons and methods of implementing regenerative tourism which will change and enhance the value of product and service chains; the correlation between effective tourism exploitation and ensuring the eco-environmental value chain.
The topic of preserving the language of the Western region is a story that Mr. Nhâm Hùng, an author, a cultural researcher, shared with the locals in Cồn Sơn islet. Specifically, Mr. Nhâm Hùng pointed out the unique cultural features of the southwesterners in their daily life. These valuable features, especially the dialects, create the cultural identity of Western people. The Western dialects have a unique identity value that should be preserved and promoted in tourism activities. In addition, the people on Cồn Sơn islet also took part in first-aid training for injuries and drowning cases with coach Dư Hải Ðường.
