In 2019, the club welcomed about 4,000 groups of tourists, more than 30,000 domestic and international visitors, an increase of nearly 30% compared to 2018. The total revenue from community-based tourism model of the club in 2019 reached nearly 6 billion VND, up 50% compared to the same period last year, contributing to creating more jobs and raising incomes for 5 households in difficult situations. The club currently has 53 members, increased by 16 members compared to 2018. The working capital and mutual support in business is about 150 million VND. Currently, the club also takes part in the project "Con Son islanders limit the use of plastic bags".

In 2020, the club will continue to unite, improve service quality, create more activities and diversify Son Son tourism products. The club will recruit more members and continue to cooperate effectively with partners (the club currently has 40 partners), gradually encourage families to start a tourism business to increase their income.

Con Son islet is one of the famous tourist destinations in Can Tho city with its prominent community-based model of tourism, which people help each other to do business in tourism. Tourism activities in Con Son islet is engaging because of its traditional cultural values and creativity. Con Son currently has many unique tourism products: flying snakehead fish, spoon feeding fish, fish hunting with spit, five-colored koi carp fish, etc.
