The opening ceremony and the light festival are activities that receive a lot of attention from visitors. The light festival with the theme “Ðêm Tây Ðô huyền ảo” (the magical night of the Western Capital) has brought an impressive and brilliant performance on Khai Luong canal. Over 30 booths promoting tourism products, handicrafts, folk cuisine, folk games attract more than 20,000 visitors.

The contest of flower garlands and colorful lanterns this year has 53 entries. This year’s contest is considered to be more creative, newer, and more meaningful. As a result, the Organizing Board awarded 1 First Prize, 2 Second prizes, and 3 Third prizes, and 47 Consolation prizes. These flower garlands and colorful lanterns will continue to be displayed in Khai Luong canal until the Lunar New Year 2021.
