The contestants will go through 3 rounds: preliminary round - selecting candidates who qualify for the semi-final and final. About 30-40 candidates are expected to compete in the semi-final: the presentation contest and ao dai show. The judges will select 25-30 candidates to compete in Ao dai, swimsuit and evening gown sessions of the final round. The 10 candidates with the highest scores will be in the Top 10 beauties and the judges will select the Top 5 to participate in the presentation and Q&A session.

The winner will represent Can Tho city as “Miss Tourism" in the next 2 years, together with the first prize of a total value of 100 million VND. The second prize is 50 million VND and the third is worth 30 million VND.

In addition, the organizing board also awards minor titles namely Miss Evening Gown, Miss Talent, Miss Hospitality, Miss Photo, Miss Skin Beauty, Miss Fitness and Miss Beautiful Face, with 10 million VND each prize.
