More than 460 publications of various fields such as society and politics, science and technology, economy, arts and culture, and spring editions from nationwide newspaper agencies participate in the festival. Besides, in order to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Can Tho City becoming the city directly under the central government, the festival exhibits the collection "Spring Publications of Can Tho 2004 - 2019" produced by many districts and departments in Can Tho to enter “The Contest of Spring Publication in the past 15 years.” All materials have been digitized and QR-coded for easy and quick access.
In addition, exhibitions on spring press are simultaneously held in 9 district libraries and 73 libraries/reading rooms in communes, wards and towns in Can Tho. Such exhibitions together with other cultural, artistic and sports activities help create a joyful atmosphere for the locals.
Spring Press Festival 2019 takes place at Can Tho City Library from today until the end of lunar January.
An exhibition area for 2019 spring press is set up At Ninh Kieu Pier, and opens for public access from 8 a.m to 21 p.m every day, from the lunar December 25th - 30th.
