Mr. Duong Tan Hien is pleased to welcome Mr. Chang Hee Lee to visit and work in Can Tho City. Mr. Duong Tan Hien said that the city is drastically implementing effective for COVID-19 pandemic prevention and control, the city’s economic growth, and social security. Furthermore, the city government will create several solutions, focus on research and increase the application of new technologies to promote innovation, improve the quality of human resources, attract talents and enhance the international integration capacity of the locality as well as businesses. The city always wishes to receive practical and effective support from the ILO, especially for the rural workers, etc.

Thanks to the warm welcome of Can Tho city’s leader, Mr. Chang Hee Lee highly appreciated Can Tho's efforts in improving the investment environment as well as paying attention to the development of labor resources. Commenting that the support for the city's development will spread to the whole Mekong Delta, Mr. Chang Hee Lee pledged to find solutions to support the city in developing labor resources. Moreover, he will introduce to foreign investors to know about Vietnam in general and Can Tho city in particular.
