Can Tho City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority is a state management unit in Can Tho City. Its functions are to directly guide the construction and infrastructure development of the zone in accordance with the detailed plan approved by Can Tho City People's Committee; to implement state management of Can Tho City Industrial Zones under the provisions of Decree No. 29/2008/ND-CP dated 14/03/2008 of the Government on industrial parks, export processing zones and economic zones and Decision No. 33/2008/QD-UBND dated 14/05/2009 of Can Tho City People's Committee on defining the functions, tasks, authorities and organizational structure of Can Tho City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority.

Can Tho City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority now resolves 32 administrative procedures in 9 fields according to Decision No. 3203/QD-UBND dated on December 14, 2012 of Can Tho City People's Committee. It currently applies “One Stop Shop” mechanism in its administrative procedures in accordance with "OSS at spot" based on of ISO 9001:2008, namely:

I. ENVIRONMENT

1. Appraise and approve environmental impact assessment reports.

2. Examine and certify the implementation of environmental protection measures in order to serve the operational phase of the project. 

3. Register the environmental protection commitment.

II. PRODUCT CIRCULATION

4. Issue the Certificate of Origin Form D

III. INVESTMENT IN VIETNAM

5. Issue the Certificate of Domestic Investment

6. Issue the Certificate of Foreign Investment

7. Issue the Certificate of Mended Investment

8. Register the renewal of certificates of investment under the provisions of the current Enterprise Law and Investment Law

9. Re-register of enterprises with foreign investment under the provisions of the current Enterprise Law and Investment Law
