Cai Luong performing contest “Mac Quan - Nguyen Trong Quyen” will take place from September to November 2023, with 3 rounds. The preliminary round will take place from September 22nd to September 24th; the semi-finals will take place on October 7th and 8th; the final round and the awards night will take place on November 3rd. Moreover, the contest host will also hold many activities to commemorate the 70th death anniversary of composer Moc Quan - Nguyen Trong Quyen.

Participants can be either professional or amateur theatre artists from across the country. Moreover, contestants are encouraged to introduce new performance styles so that the art form can widen its reach among audiences, particularly young people.

The Organizing Committee is expected to award 15 medals, including 7 Gold Medals (20 million VND/medal), 8 Silver medals (10 million VND / medal) and 5 consolation prizes.

Candidates register for the contest at Tay Do Theatre, No. 105, Tran Hung Dao Street, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho City. Contest registration deadline is September 12, 2023.
