Ms. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, the Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City, stated that the friendly relationship and cooperation between Vietnam and Thailand have been constantly strengthened and developed. Leaders of both countries have organized visits to deepen cooperation in politics, economics, defense and security, culture, education, and people-to-people exchanges between the two sides. On this occasion, the Thai diplomat thanked the leaders of Can Tho City for creating favorable conditions for Thai businesses and looked forward to receiving support from Can Tho government to invest in Can Tho, especially in the fields of trade, education and training, construction of roads, airways, and supermarkets, etc.

For his part, Vice Chairman of Can Tho Municipal People's Committee Nguyen Ngoc He acknowledged the investment, contribution, and effective business practices of Thai enterprises operating in Can Tho City. He also affirmed that the city prioritizes supporting Thai businesses by removing obstacles and creating favorable conditions for their development.

Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc He said that Can Tho City aims to strengthen and expand friendly cooperation in various fields with Thailand. He hopes that the Consul General of Thailand in Ho Chi Minh City will act as a bridge to introduce the image and potential of Can Tho City's investment attraction policies to Thai businesses and investors, particularly in education and training, agricultural processing, and garments. Moreover, the Center for production, processing, and consumption of agricultural products in the Mekong Delta city of Can Tho is now calling for investment with many priority policies, he added.
