The program aims to create opportunities for businesses in the Mekong Delta region, Ho Chi Minh City and provinces in the Southeast region to connect for trade, and commerce promotion, contributing to the economic and social development of the Mekong Delta region. At the same time, it aims to foster the "Go Global" movement of the Vietnamese business community, supporting Vietnamese entrepreneurs in expanding international investments and trade.

The program features activities to connect the Mekong Trade - Southwest Region Cluster, with the participation of nearly 200 booths for trade fairs, product displays, introductions, and direct networking.

Speaking at the event, Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City, stated that according to a survey conducted by VCCI in 2022, businesses were facing several difficulties. These include accessing capital (55.6%), finding customers (55.1%), challenges due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic (34.1%), market fluctuations (23.8%), and seeking business partners (21.4%)... Therefore, this program is highly practical and provides timely support to businesses in the market. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City hopes that the program "Connecting Trade in the Southwest Region, Entrepreneur Coffee, and Vietnam Entrepreneurs Go Global Forum" will contribute to supporting businesses in resolving current difficulties, opening up new cooperation opportunities, and finding reliable partners and potential customers for their businesses. It is also an opportunity for businesses to explore and decide to invest in Can Tho City in the future.
