The Club will operate with the motto of mobilizing maximum resources, giving full play to the strengths of members; creating an information-sharing environment, sharing experiences, connecting, supporting, and helping each other, and interacting with the Khmer-Vietnam Association in Cambodia in connecting businesses currently investing in Cambodia, making important contributions to strengthening the traditional solidarity and cooperative development between the two countries and peoples.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Van Can - Chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Can Tho City - said that one of the key tasks of the Association in the 2023-2028 term is to establish the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Club of Can Tho City to introduce and provide information to Vietnamese businesses and businesses of Vietnamese expatriates in Cambodia about investment policies of the two countries, investment opportunities and projects in Cambodia; being a connection point to support economic cooperation between domestic member businesses of the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Club, contributing to creating a bridge to help businesses of the two countries strengthen trade promotion and investment in the future.

According to Mr. Tran Huu Xich, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of Can Tho City (Head of the Club), currently the Vietnam-Cambodia Business Club of Can Tho City has attracted 27 members operating in many fields.

In 2024, the Club plans to organize an exchange, twinning, and MoU signing trip with the Khmer-Vietnam Friendship Association and the Khmer-Vietnam Business Association in Cambodia; organize an invitation to the Consulate General of Cambodia in Ho Chi Minh City to introduce investment and economic cooperation opportunities with Cambodia to the Club; organize seminars to propagandize to Club members about legal documents related to economic, investment and trade activities with Cambodia.
