Phong Dien has many tourist areas, destinations, and new experiences opening to welcome visitors during Tet. Operating since January 2024, Wonderland Can Tho (My Khanh commune, Phong Dien district) is drawing attention with its many interesting models. Covering an area of 5,000m2, Wonderland Can Tho resembles a small fairytale land, with over 100 models ranging from 5-8m in height, adorned with vibrant colors. Among them, the standout is the dragon mascot at the entrance named Thien Hai Binh An, measuring 16m in length, 5m in height, and weighing nearly 3 tons, making it a suitable check-in point for the Year of the Dragon. Additionally, there are numerous miniature landscape models with over 1,000 vibrant flower pots. Also in My Khanh commune, this Tet, My Khanh Tourist Village opened its Color Park amusement park on February 3rd, featuring two entirely new attractions: the rainbow slide and My Khanh flower street. The rainbow slide is the first dry inflatable slide in the Mekong Delta, measuring 160m in length, 20m in height, and 11m in width with 6 sliding lanes (for groups of 6-10 passengers per slide). Furthermore, My Khanh Tourist Village offers over 20 other entertainment services for visitors, including many new services such as the fairytale garden and My Khanh floating market. These destinations also feature music programs and traditional Western-style lottery shows.

Currently in Phong Dien, eco-tourism destinations and resorts are developing, including Tuan Tuong Ecotourism Garden (Phong Dien town), Ong De Ecotourism Village (Group 26, My Ai hamlet, My Khanh commune), Lung Cot Cau Ecotourism Area (Nhon Nghia commune), Lung Tram Ecological Garden (National Highway 61C, Nhon Nghia commune), Can Tho Eco Resort (Nhon Thuan hamlet, Nhon Nghia commune), Mekong Silt Ecolodge (My Nhon hamlet, My Khanh commune), and 9 Hong Fruit Garden (My Nhon hamlet). These locations offer diverse experiences and services, from fruit garden tours and baking experiences to traditional games and culinary delights.

During Tet, historical sites and pagodas also tend to attract a large number of visitors. Notable locations include the Hung King Temple (Binh Thuy ward, Binh Thuy district), Ong Pagoda (Tan An ward, Ninh Kieu district), Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery (My Nhon hamlet, My Khanh commune, Phong Dien district), Binh Thuy Communal House (Binh Thuy ward, Binh Thuy district), and Nam Nha Phat Duong (Bui Huu Nghia ward, Binh Thuy district), all of which remain open throughout Tet to meet the Vietnamese people's cultural needs for temple visits and prayers for peace at the beginning of the year.

A distinctive destination in Can Tho is the Cai Rang Floating Market, which will provide visitors with a special Tet market atmosphere. Visitors to the market in the days leading up to Tet will experience the lively atmosphere of a river market with bustling boats, crowded buyers and sellers, and more vibrant activities than usual, operating only until the morning of the 30th day of Tet. After this period, the market vendors will temporarily cease trading activities to return to their hometowns to celebrate Tet. The floating market will resume operations after the 3rd day of Tet.

In the Binh Thuy area, the Con Son Southern Region Ecotourism Area is a new destination for visitors during this Tet. This is a 10-ha entertainment and resort complex located at the head of Con Son. Particularly, there are many new and unique activities here, such as foggy catfish, a zoo, and a paintball field. The zoo here is diverse, featuring sheep, ponies, deer, and more. Additionally, visitors can experience various other activities in the Con Son community ecotourism area (in the middle and at the end of the island) with products such as flying snakehead fish and making popped rice, or try camping at Ngan Long Home & Camp (in the middle of the island).

For visitors who love to check in, destinations such as the Purple House (99 Chi Sinh Street, Tan Phu Ward), Ong Lang Village (Giai Xuan commune, Phong Dien district), Hoa Hong Coffee (Vo Van Kiet street, Ninh Kieu district), and Vo Song Farm (45F Truong Vinh Nguyen street, Thuan Thanh ward, Cai Rang district) offer many flower gardens and beautiful landscapes for visitors' photography needs.

Welcoming the Year of the Dragon 2024, hotels and resorts such as Victoria Resort Can Tho, TTC Can Tho, Azerai Can Tho, welcome visitors with New Year countdown experiences through European-style romantic parties and BBQs. Particularly, Victoria Resort Can Tho offers a program called "Experience the Traditional Tet" with activities such as asking for calligraphy, making traditional cakes and candy, and more.
