The festival aims to promote the growth, production, and processing of local products under the One Commune One Product Program (OCOP) through displaying and introducing products to visitors. Moreover, it contributes to raising awareness of conservation and creativity in folk cake processing, supporting artisans and businesses to build brands and expand markets. Particularly, the festival aims to celebrate My Khanh Tourist Village being recognized as a 4-star OCOP-based tourism area.
The festival, with the theme “Flavors of the homeland”, is expected to have about 50 booths in area 2 (central area) of My Khanh Tourist Village and will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on event days.
There will be many interesting activities during festive days such as an exhibition introducing OCOP products and specialties of Can Tho and Mekong Delta region (from December 23, 2023 to January 1, 2024), a display of My Khanh floating market model, a culinary program, Art shows, traditional music and dance, game show, monkey circus, pig/dog racing, “one day being a farmer” game, “one day being a landowner” game, etc.
