For example, a famtrip to survey destinations and new tourism products of Phong Dien; booths to promote OCOP products; “Mini landscape” contest and folk cake-making contest; exhibition of Phong Dien specialties; workshop on agricultural production, food safety, and eco-tourism development; boat racing, trade fair, etc. As a result, the festival has gradually become the highlight of Phong Dien District and Can Tho City, a magnet to attract tourists.
This year, Phong Dien Ecotourism Festival attracted about 40,000 visitors to Phong Dien District.
At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee awarded prizes to winners of the contests and presented 100 Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children in the district.
