Attending the summary ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee and Head of the Steering Committee for the Youth Development Program of the city for the period 2021 – 2030 (Steering Committee); Ms. Lu Thi Ngoc Anh, Secretary of the Can Tho City Youth Union and Deputy Head of the Steering Committee, along with the Secretaries and Deputy Secretaries of the 23 units under the Youth Union and the groups and individuals who achieved excellent results during Youth Month 2023.

According to the summary report, in the past Youth Month, the city's youth union organized a wide range of activities with the goal of promoting the role of the youth in participating in digital transformation, applying and utilizing digital technology in practical life, and enhancing digital capacity for children and youth. The activities also aimed to promote the role of youth in building an enhanced new rural area, a model new rural area, and a civilized city. Through these activities, the youth’s awareness of the role of the union was enhanced, and the attention of the Party committees, government, and society was attracted to the union work and youth movement in the city. Outstanding examples of youth activities included the Lunar New Year tree-planting activity "Forever Grateful to Uncle Ho" in Thoi Lai district, the installation of stone benches to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Can Tho city under the Central government, the organization of the 15th "Red Sunday" program in 2023, launching the website and inaugurating the youth work "Introducing the historical and cultural relics of Can Tho city on the digital platform," training the digital transformation community team, transferring science and technology by the young intellectual team at the city level, launching the community digital transformation team to promote cashless transaction market, implementing projects and tasks of the youth volunteer team for collecting trash in rural areas, and delivering water filtration machines in Thoi Lai district… As a result, the city's youth have achieved and exceeded 11 out of 12 basic targets set, completing 331 youth projects and 1,687 youth tasks with a total value of over VND 10,533 billion. The entire youth union has organized 21 activities to support creative entrepreneurship for 2,425 youth union members, 92 career counseling activities for students, with 131,108 turns of youth union members participating, 124 job introduction activities for 7,314 turns of youth union members, and 1,895 gifts and scholarships were awarded by Youth Unions in Youth Month, with a total value of 617 million VND. Notably, the youth project "Introducing the historical and cultural relics of Can Tho City on the digital platform" has been successfully implemented. 38 historical and cultural relics of Can Tho city have been digitized on the electronic information page: thanhnien.dulichso.cantho.gov.vn, and QR code boards have been installed at historical sites in the area.

In addition, youth organizations at all levels have implemented many activities to support rural areas in achieving new rural development standards and models, such as: establishing youth teams to collect trash in rural areas; training on digital transformation in the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas in all 9 districts; organizing tree planting and waste plastic prevention models; organizing 125 digital transformation activities, benefiting 50,996 people; all 83 youth volunteer teams continue to support the community in the national digital transformation program; providing direct support at the Reception and Results Return Department at city-level agencies, district-level People's Committees, and commune-level People's Committees; setting up mobile teams to guide and support at agencies, units, businesses, and people's homes; instructing the issuance of electronic citizen identity cards; installing and using the electronic identification application (VNEID)... It can be said that all these projects and tasks, big or small, contribute to the local economic and social development and create an overall picture of the beautiful Youth Month activities, both in terms of content and expression. Through this, an effective method of gathering and uniting has been created, attracting many enthusiastic youths to participate. This affirms the pioneering role of youth in the cause of industrialization and modernization and creates a favorable environment to assert the aspirations to contribute and pioneer the city's youth in the era of digital transformation.

In his directing speech at the Summary Ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City and Head of the Steering Committee for the Youth Development Program of the city in the 2021-2030 period, stated that March is the Youth Month with many meaningful activities, projects, and humanitarian works. In Can Tho City, the Youth Month of 2023 will be held from February 26, 2023, in Thoi Lai District with the theme "Can Tho's Youth pioneers in digital transformation," which is particularly concerned by the city's leaders and consistent with the city's socio-economic development tasks in 2023. Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien highly appreciated the works and activities of the youth union, especially those that have contributed to the successful implementation of national programs on building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and digital transformation, as well as many other practical activities.

Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City required the Can Tho Youth Union and members in collaboration with relevant departments and localities, to promote the dissemination of the events and activities taking place in the city in April 2023, such as the opening of the Van Don (Quang Ninh) - Can Tho air route, the Southern Folk Cake Festival in 2023, and the Balloon Festival… to attract tourists and stimulate tourism.

Moreover, he also required the Can Tho Youth Union to develop specific plans, actively participate in administrative reform and digital transformation of the city, evaluate the effectiveness of the youth works in the past and set directions for the future, and establish detailed plans and regulations to contribute to improving the quality of Youth Union activities and youth movements.

On this occasion, to acknowledge the contributions and enthusiasm of groups and individuals who have achieved outstanding results in the Youth Month of 2023, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho City awarded 14 groups and 19 individuals with Certificates of Merit from the city People's Committee. The Executive Committee of the Youth Union also organized commendations for 9 groups and 37 individuals who have made remarkable achievements in the Youth Month of 2023.
