The 2022 Nham Dan Spring Press Festival is part of the annual celebration of the Party and the Spring in Can Tho city. The 2020 Nham Dan Spring Press Festival provides participants with a lot of important information, press publications reflecting the situation of the country and the world over the past year, including Vietnam's achievements in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic, calling on the entire Party, people and army to sail through difficulties and challenges, trusting in the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the cause of national construction, protection, and development. This event is also a cultural beauty, a channel for providing information for management and research activities. Moreover, the festival aims at encouraging reading culture and enriching the people's spiritual life during the traditional Tet holiday of the nation.

This year's Spring Press Festival displays nearly 400 publications of the 2022 Nham Dan Spring Festival in the country, under 6 themes, including Spring publications of the districts, agencies, and departments of Can Tho city; Spring publications of 63 provinces and cities nationwide; Spring publications in the field of politics - society; Spring publications in the field of economics - science and technology; Spring publications in the field of literature - art; Spring publications for children.

Furthermore, libraries in 9 districts and 83 communes, wards, and towns throughout the city of Can Tho also organized an exhibition to demonstrate Spring publications in combination with cultural and artistic activities, physical training, and sports to serve the spiritual life of the people in the localities before, during and after the 2022 Lunar New Year. Besides, the 2022 Publication Contest in Can Tho city kicked off to promote the improvement of the quality and efficiency of local amateur journalism activities, contributing to the successful implementation of the task of building and developing Can Tho city in a new period

The 2022 Nham Dan Spring Press Festival will run from January 25th, 2022 to February 28th, 2022 (From Lunar December 23rd, 2021 to Lunar January 28th, 2022). Entrance is free for the public

On this occasion, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded 1 collective prize, 1 third prize, and 5 consolation prizes to students who won in the national final round of the Reading Culture Ambassador Contest 2021.
