According to Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, the press activities in the city have been vibrant in recent times, with two local media agencies and nearly 70 representative offices of central, provincial, and city-level media agencies operating within the city. This formidable force has consistently penetrated every corner of life to seek and provide useful and engaging information to readers. In addition to general information about the Mekong Delta, the journalists have produced numerous articles highlighting information and disseminating the party's direction and state policies and laws, as well as significant achievements in various fields such as economy, politics, culture, society, defense, security, and foreign affairs. These efforts contribute to promoting the image of the country, the people of Can Tho, and the Mekong Delta region to the nation and the international community.

The Vice Chairman of the Can Tho City People's Committee has confidence that in the coming time, the team of journalists will continue to uphold the traditions of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press. Each journalist will incessantly learn, train, and dedicate themselves to contributing to the construction of a professional, humane, and modern revolutionary press in Vietnam. They will truly become sharp tools that play an important role in safeguarding the Motherland, the regime, the national interests, the rights and legitimate interests of the people, and in promoting socio-economic development. "Can Tho City will always create the best conditions for the functioning of the press and for journalists operating within the area, contributing to the successful implementation of the resolutions of the 14th Party Congress of the Can Tho City Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, and Resolution No. 59 dated August 5, 2020, of the Politburo on the construction and development of Can Tho City until 2030, with a vision to 2045," affirmed Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien.

This will contribute to promoting a greater image of the land and people of Can Tho to local and international communities. Media agencies are encouraged to uphold the traditions of the Vietnamese Revolutionary Press, focusing on building clean and strong party organizations within the media agencies. Efforts should be made to continuously improve the quality of work, vigorously implement digital transformation, quickly adapt to modern journalism trends, and strengthen connections with media agencies in Ho Chi Minh City and throughout the country. These actions will enable them to fulfill the information and communication tasks assigned by the City Party Committee and the People's Committee.
