The contest is divided into two rounds. Participants can submit videos or short films or short reports that showcase the beauty of Vietnamese culture and traditional identity. This can include the beauty of everyday life, famous landmarks, traditional cuisine, traditional costumes, music, and musical instruments. The goal is to introduce and celebrate the rich heritage of Vietnam.
Contestants or groups of contestants will participate in the preliminary round from December 4, 2023, to January 28, 2024, by creating videos, short films, or reports. They are required to post their works on their personal TikTok page with the hashtag #tinhhoavietnam2023 and submit their entries via the website http://tinhhoavietnam.doanthanhnien.vn. After reviewing all the submissions, the organizing committee will select 20 works to participate in the final round, which will take place from February 26 to March 10, 2024.
The entries can be submitted between November 27, 2023, and January 21, 2024. Along with the weekly prize for the highest voted work (8 weeks), the Organizing Committee will also give away other prizes, which include 1 First prize worth 15 million VND, 1 Second prize worth 10 million VND, 1 Third prize worth 5 million VND, and 2 Consolation prizes, worth 3 million VND each.
