Specifically, Vietnam has been named “Asia's new tourism hotspot” by Deutsche Welle (DW), Germany's international broadcaster and a trusted source for reliable, unbiased news and information. The Germany-based website has identified three reasons for Vietnam's rapidly rising to the new Asia tourism hotpot including the relaxed visa policy, a well-preserved natural beauty, and bustling cities.

Vietnam received 6.6 million foreign travelers in the first seven months of the year, while it expects to receive 8 million foreign holidaymakers this year. However, the figure is projected to exceed 10 million thanks to the rapidly increasing number of international tourists, especially from South Korea, China, and India.
