Can Tho’s iconic Cai Rang Floating Market will offer tourists a unique Tet shopping atmosphere on the river. The Tet market scene, bustling with boats and vibrant trading activities, will continue until the morning of the 29th day of the lunar year 2024. After this period, merchants at the floating market will temporarily pause activities to return home for the Tet celebrations. They will resume operations after the third day of the Lunar New Year.

In Phong Dien district, attractions such as My Khanh Tourist Village, Cantho Eco Resort, and Ong De Ecotourism Village have been renovated with new services and products, providing visitors with diverse experiences and activities.

At Ong De Ecotourism Village (My Khanh Commune), new features include the Ong De Garden area, an "Ong Do Street," and a Tet-themed studio with vibrant decorations for photo opportunities. Meanwhile, My Khanh Tourist Village will host the Spring Colors Festival 2025 from January 29 to February 9, showcasing unique culinary offerings from different ethnic groups, local specialties, OCOP products, and traditional crafts.

Cantho Eco Resort will unveil the Tet Eco Studio, recreating traditional Tet settings from Vietnam’s three regions. Highlights include a Southern-style rural market, a miniature Sa Dec flower village, and streets adorned with lush grapefruit and orange trees. The resort also offers a spring festival program featuring festive dances, lion dances, and comedic performances.

Hotels and resorts organize culinary and cultural programs, including buffets and artistic performances, to welcome Tet visitors. Venues such as Sheraton Can Tho, Victoria Can Tho Resort, TTC Can Tho, and Mekong Silt Ecolodge host New Year countdown events and various parties, including BBQ feasts.

Victoria Can Tho Resort offers the Traditional Tet Celebration program from January 28 to 31 (the 29th day of the lunar month to the 3rd day of Tet). Activities include wrapping tet cake (sticky rice cake), making candied fruits, calligraphy, and Southern folk music performances.

Popular cultural and historical sites, such as the Temple of Hung Kings, Truc Lam Phuong Nam Zen Monastery, Binh Thuy Ancient House, Binh Thuy Communal House, Ong Pagoda, and Nam Nha Pagoda, are also attracting numerous visitors for sightseeing and photo opportunities during Tet.

Recreational areas like Son Islet, the Purple House, and Vo Song Farm are adorned with vibrant flowers and new Tet-themed decorations, catering to visitors’ needs for check-ins and unique experiences.
