Specifically, the delegation visited and learned about the production and business activities at Thang Loi Export-Import Food Processing Joint Stock Company (in Thot Not District), Thien Phat Food Processing One Member Company Limited and Tam Lang Food Processing One Member Company Limited (in Co Do District).
During the visits, in addition to understanding the production and business activities of the enterprises in the early months of the year, the city leaders listened to the proposals and recommendations of the businesses regarding land-related issues, the need for preferential interest rate loans to expand production scale, and investments in transportation infrastructure to facilitate goods transit.
After hearing the reports from the companies, Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Hieu acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the units, especially their efforts in stabilizing production and creating employment opportunities for workers. Secretary Nguyen Van Hieu stated that the city always encourages businesses to invest and expand production scale, apply advanced technology to improve the quality of rice, diversify and enhance the value-added of products, thereby gaining a competitive advantage in both domestic and international markets.

Regarding the feedback and suggestions from the businesses, Secretary Nguyen Van Hieu assured that they will be acknowledged and consolidated, and then work will be organized with relevant parties to resolve them for the businesses. "The city authorities always accompany and support businesses, creating favorable conditions for their stable production and business activities," emphasized Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu.
Secretary of the City Party Committee also mentioned that the city is promoting the establishment of a Production-Processing-Consumption Linkage Center for agricultural products in the Mekong Delta region, to be located in Can Tho City. Therefore, the city invites businesses, banks, logistics service providers, and ports to participate in this linkage center.
The city leaders witnessed the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Branch of Tan Cang Mekong Delta and a rice processing and exporting company in the city.
During this occasion, the city leaders also witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding on cooperation in providing logistics services and international or domestic transportation of goods by container (FCL) or breakbulk cargo between the representatives of Tan Cang Mekong Delta Branch - Saigon Newport Corporation One Member LLC and Thien Phat Food Processing One Member Company Limited.
