I. Introduction:
Gather, propagate, educate members to promote their ownership right, actively study to raise the level, ability on every aspects; represent farmer class to participate in building the Party, the State and national united bloc; look after, protect legal, legitimate rights and benefits of farmers; organize activities of service, counselling, support farmers in production and life.
Campaign, educate cadres, members, farmers to gain the knowledge of the Party’s policies; the State’s law and policies; resolutions, instructions of the Union, promote patriotic tradition, revolutionary will, spirit of self-help for self-improvement, creative labour of farmers.
Propagate, gather and be the core in organizing farmer’s movements to develop economy, culture, society, security and national defense. Take care of material and spiritual life of members and farmers.
All levels of the Union are active members in political system of implementing policies, law, socio – economical developing programs of the State in rural areas.
Instruct to develop forms of collective economy in agriculture; co-ordinate in supporting and vocational training to help farmers develop the production, improve life’s conditions, environment protection.
Unite, gather the huge amount of farmers to join the Union, develop and raise the quality of members, build the Union strong on every aspects; train cadres to meet the requirements, tasks in the period of nation industrialization and modernization.
Participate in building clean, strong Party and government. Participate in supervise and criticize the society by regulations. Timely reflect farmers’ thoughts and aspirations to Party and State; protect legal, legitimate rights and benefits of members and farmers. Implement the regulations of democracy at grassroots level, conserve solidarity in internal farmers; contribute to building national united bloc, conserve political security, society safety and order; be against bureaucracy, corruption, wasting and social evils.
