On April 14, the People’s Committee of Can Tho City held a meeting with local businesses dependent on exports to the U.S. The event aimed to gather feedback, listen to proposals, and support enterprises facing challenges due to new trade policies. This initiative is part of efforts to compile a comprehensive report for the central government and to assist businesses in overcoming difficulties, reviving production, and achieving the city’s economic growth targets.

In the afternoon of September 19th, EvaCom Vietnam Trading and Communication Joint Stock Company and the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho City hold a press conference on the first “Can Tho Miss Tourism Beauty Contest 2019”. The contest themed "Beauty of the river city" will take place in Can Tho, from November 1st to November 22nd.

In the past three years, Can Tho has significantly developed various aspects of its tourism, particularly the number of tourists, tourism services and facilities.
