This is the first time My Khanh Tourist Village organizes this event which aims to honor traditional cuisine, to promote and introduce agricultural products and specialties of the Mekong Delta to visitors. The festival has more than 100 stalls, including about 40 stalls displaying folk cakes and specialties of Can Tho city and provinces in the Mekong Delta region, with the participation of many typical artists and artisans. This is also an occasion to honor many unique products from provinces and cities of the Mekong Delta such as coconut nectar, sweet Macapuno strings (Tra Vinh), mulberry (An Giang), custard apple green tea, seedless jackfruit (Can Tho), purple longan (Phong Dien) …
The festival takes place until January, 3rd 2021. In addition to making folk cakes and seeing traditional cultural shows, visitors also have the opportunity to participate in many unique entertainment activities such as pig racing, dog racing, bottle-feeding fish; some interesting folk games like cans throwing, hopscotch, pulling the spathe of the areca tree (a kind of tug of war)...; or check-in at the colorful flower garden.
