People’s Committee of Can Tho City is responsible for implementing the Constitution, law, documents of higher authorities and resolution of People’s Council at the same level to ensure the implementation of policies, measures in developing socio-economy, reinforce national defense, security and other policies on areas.
People’s Committee implements the function of state management in localities, contributing to ensuring unanimous direction, management in administrative system of the State from central government to grassroots level.
