Can Tho city currently has 35 eco-tourism gardens distributed mainly in Phong Dien district, Cai Rang district, Binh Thuy district, and Thot Not district with all kinds of scales, providing a variety of services for tourists.

The common point of Can Tho ecological gardens is the green natural space, bearing the appearance of a typical Southern village with charming rivers, but each ecological garden also creates its own unique features to meet different needs of visitors. Some ecological gardens are invested to built in large areas to grow many kinds of specialty fruit trees such as rambutans, mangosteens, mangos, guavas, Ha Chau Burmese grapes, star apples, oranges, pomelos, longans and provide multi-services form from sightseeing, experiencing, fruit picking, eating, playing, entertaining to resorts and homestays.

My Khanh Tourist Village

Covering an area of over 30 hectares, My Khanh Tourist Village is a complex of resorts, entertainment, relaxation, cuisine, and eco-tourism with the most spectacular investment in Can Tho city. Here, visitors can travel on tourist trams to visit Southern’s ancient houses, My Khanh flower garden, wildlife park; enjoy more than 20 types of specialty fruits in the garden; participate in folk games such as catching fish, riding a horse-drawn carriage, rowing a boat, competing in Sasuke My Khanh; watch pig racing, dog racing, animal circus or join in crocodile fishing. Tourists can also take part in “One Day as a Landlord”, “One Day as a Farmer”, “Meal of the Landlord” and enjoy extremely various, attractive Southern-style dishes.

Ong De Tourist Village

Ong De Tourist Village is also a favorite ecological destination of young people. With a fairly new model, this site does not focus on orchards, but it was designed to create an ecological space in order to provide a variety of dishes and funny, exciting folk games such as cycling over a narrow bridge across a ditch, rope swinging, balancing on the monkey bridge, boat rowing, draining the ditch for fish.

Vam Xang Orchard

Vam Xang Orchard is an eco-tourism place for those who love rustic beauty which is in harmony with nature and imbued with the identity of the Southern region. This 3-hectare orchard, planted with more than 40 different specialty fruit trees, is meticulously cared for. A special feature of this place is that visitors will be guided by Mr. Nam Lien - the orchard owner. Here, visitors can enjoy fruits in the garden depending on the season, or participate in activities and folk games such as rowing a boat in small ditches, drawing up a fishing trap or a fishing net, fishing, draining ditches to catch fish. In addition, visitors can experience the feeling of being a farmer and be able to prepare some rustic dishes by themselves, or simply hang a hammock to rest and relax under cool green trees. This place also has a homestay area with 20 beautiful, fully equipped rooms imbued with typical Southern culture.

Lu Gia - Xeo Nhum Ecological garden

With an area of ​​​​more than 2 hectares, Lu Gia - Xeo Nhum Ecological garden has a poetic, idyllic, and rustic scene with gourd vines, the river wharf, wooden boats, orchards, vegetable gardens, and romantic green bamboo rows, which create highlights for this place to attract visitors. The food court in the garden is designed to create an airy, quiet and cool atmosphere. Visitors can both sightsee the scenery and enjoy Southwestern-style specialties made from “homegrown” ingredients such as free-range chickens, pond-raised fish, gourds, Vietnamese luffa, and green vegetables planted in the garden. In addition, visitors can experience growing vegetables by themselves, planting seeds, taking care of them, returning to the garden to harvest, and then bringing them home or cooking and eating their booty at the garden. Moreover, they can participate in activities such as drying up ditches to catch fish, snails, or using the fishing rod to fish. There is also a homestay service including brightly and beautifully decorated rooms with full facilities to serve visitors upon request.
