KinderWorld is a global education organization, one of the leading international education investors in Vietnam, providing education services from Kindergarten to Pre-University. After more than 20 years of operation in Vietnam, KinderWorld International Group is currently managing and operating a system of 16 educational institutions under the brands KinderWorld International Kindergarten, Singapore International School, and Singapore Vietnam International School in many big cities of Vietnam such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Long, Da Nang, Nha Trang, Vung Tau, Binh Duong and Can Tho. In Can Tho city, KinderWorld International Group has invested in the Singapore International School (SIS) at Nguyen Van Cu Street, An Binh Ward, Ninh Kieu District, Can Tho city. SIS has been open in the school year of 2018-2019 with a bilingual program at all levels from preschool to junior high.

KinderWorld International Group and Can Tho city have been cooperating since 2015 working on a number of projects related to education and training such as the improvement of high-quality educational programs (taught entirely in English) at SIS Can Tho; Pegasus University; the life skills education school Outward Bound. Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and some other obstacles, these projects have not been implemented.

At the meeting, the representative of KinderWorld Vietnam wished to promote the implementation of projects in Can Tho city, in order to create opportunities for students in the Mekong Delta region to access the international educational environment.

At the working session

To conclude the working session, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc He, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, said that the two sides needed to review the projects that Can Tho city and KinderWorld Group have cooperated to implement in the past time. At the same time, it is recommended that KinderWorld Group make a new proposal to the People's Committee of Can Tho city on speeding up the progress of projects. Moreover, KinderWorld Group should proactively contact the Ministry of Education and Training for updated instructions on inclusion in the university network in Can Tho city. In addition, Vice Chairman Nguyen Ngoc He assigned the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Education and Training, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Department of Construction to act as the focal point to guide KinderWorld Group to carry out the procedures in accordance with the law.
