
This year, the Organizing Committee introduces to visitors the typical cultural heritages of the Kinh (Vietnamese), Chinese, and Khmer ethnic groups, including traditional handicraft demonstrations (knitting, weaving mats, wood carvings, etc.); folk cuisine exhibition with Southern folk cakes and traditional candied fruits for Tet. Besides, there is also a festival of artistic fruit carving decoration. This is an opportunity for artists to perform their skills, and exchange experience with others. Moreover, they can introduce traditional Southern craft, cultural heritage, and typical culinary products of localities to tourists near and far.

With 42 activities and 27 booths designed for Tet holiday, the Colors of Spring in the Garden Land” program partially recreates old customs and traditions; thereby enhancing the Vietnamese traditional cultural values, and recalling the memories of Vietnam's traditional Tet. The “The Colors of Spring in the Garden Land” 2023 program will open from January 6th to January 10th, 2023. Particularly, “Ong Do Street” and “Reading books on spring days” will be available until January 26th, 2023 (the Lunar January 5th, 2023).
