Can Tho city has just had a new tourist attraction, the Temple of the Hung Kings. The project, which covers an area of 4 hectares and is located at the Cultural and Sports Center of Binh Thuy district, has been inaugurated on the evening of April 6th.

The Temple of the Hung Kings has a total investment of nearly 130 billion VND, including the following items: Main Temple, Operator, Nghi Mon, Brewhouse, Yard, Trees, lawns, etc.

In particular, the project's highlight is the main temple building with 18 stylized bows resembling a bronze drum image, surrounded by a lake. The bows are sculpted patterns representing the 18 Hung Kings. The main temple is a 19.5 m high circular block built on a square foundation, on an area of nearly 1,300 m2, implying Sky and Earth. Surrounding the main temple are 54 cylindrical pillars of 4.5 meters in height and one meter in diameter, forming a circle in the lake that symbolizes the community of 54 ethnic groups in Vietnam.

Can Tho Old Market, a famous tourist attraction and shopping area in Tay Do (the Western Capital). The market was built in 1915 at the same time as Ben Thanh market and Binh Tay market in Ho Chi Minh City.

In 2005, Can Tho Old Market was restored and expanded with an area of more than 1,700 m2. After renovation, the market still retains most of its ancient, rectangular architecture with the front facing Hai Ba Trung streets and the back facing the Can Tho River. The inner space of the market is divided into small lots for selling products to customers and tourists.

Binh Thuy ancient house or Binh Thuy communal house is known as the most beautiful ancient house in the Western region. It was built in 1870 and owned by the Duong family. In the early 20th century, the house was restored to its present appearance. The most special thing about Binh Thuy ancient house is that it bears the imprint of clear feng-shui of the East, creating a harmonious combination between two cultures East-West.

The floating market of Cai Rang hustles and bustles again with the return of many tourists and merchants when Can Tho tourism reopens and the Covid-19 pandemic is under control. Currently, there are about 200 ships bringing tourists to visit this largest floating market in the West every day. Every day, about 300 wooden boats and rafts carrying agricultural products from all over the region shuttle back and forth to the market to trade goods and sell food and drink to customers and tourists. The market was established about 120 years ago. Currently, the floating market of Cai Rang is one of the most popular tourist attractions that most visitors cannot ignore when traveling to Can Tho city.

Culinary experience is also an attractive activity for visitors to Can Tho. Visitors will be taught to make folk cakes with artisan Phan Kim Ngan (Bay Muon), on Con Son in the middle of Hau River. She is a Southern folk cake artist, capable of processing about 100 types of specialty cakes of the Western region.

Son islet, located in Bui Huu Nghia ward, Binh Thuy district, is more than 74 hectares wide. There are 79 households on Son islet, 50% of which are in the chain of community-based tourism links.

Tourists love eating delicious food in the tourist area of Lung Cot Cau which covers an area of over 7 hectares in Nhon Nghia commune, Phong Dien district. Lung Coc Cau is also identified as a cultural relic of the ancient Funan Kingdom. Coming to this eco-tourism area, in addition to sightseeing, and eating fruits and specialties of the Southwest region, visitors also have the opportunity to learn more about the ancient Oc Eo culture.

Visitors have fun at the Purple House in Cai Rang district. This entire place covers an area of 5,000 square meters. The main house is designed in romantic purple colors, with several impressive miniatures attracting many visitors, especially young people.
