In a document sent to the People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has requested localities to enhance the management of activities to protect and promote the value of historical and cultural relics and scenic spots. Specifically, localities are required to strictly implement legal regulations on cultural heritage, intensify inspection, examination, and supervision of the implementation of relic restoration and embellishment projects, and decisively and rigorously address any violations that may affect the value of relics. All these measures aim to ensure the harmonious coexistence of cultural heritage conservation and sustainable socio-economic development in the locality.

The Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism requested leaders of provinces and cities to direct competent agencies to enhance the state management of donations and sponsorships for historical and cultural relics in their respective areas. It is essential to ensure that the donations and sponsorships for relics and festival activities are public, transparent, effective, and for the intended purposes under legal regulations. This will contribute to preserving and promoting the nation's traditional culture and actively support the conservation, restoration, and enhancement of relics and the organization of festivals.
