Cai Rang currently has 25 tourist facilities, gardens, and relics. The Cai Rang floating market is a famous destination attracting domestic and international visitors. At the end of August, the Cai Rang District People's Committee will coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports, and Tourism of Can Tho City to organize the 8th Cai Rang Floating Market Cultural Tourism Festival in 2024. The festival will be themed “Preserving and promoting the national intangible culture “Cai Rang Floating Market Culture” associated with tourism development”.

The festival will take place from August 31st to September 1st at 17/2 Vo Tanh Street, Yen Thuan area, Le Binh Ward, Cai Rang District, Can Tho City. The festival will feature a variety of activities, including a boat parade on the river, booths promoting tourism and trade, a seminar on developing waterways between Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho City, a contest titled “Beauty of Ao Ba Ba in the Past and Present” in 2024, a contest to decorate and display models of Ghe - Tau - Cay Beo, sports tournaments, social security activities, as well as booths promoting agricultural products and cuisine.
