At the meeting, Mr. Hanif Salim praises the success of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam. He also congratulates Vietnam on being one of the most successful countries in containing the Covid-19 pandemic. On this occasion, Mr. Hanif Salim wishes to cooperate with the city of Can Tho in opening direct flights from Can Tho to Indonesia and vice versa to strengthen cooperation between the two sides.

At the reception, Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho city, expresses his pleasure to meet Mr. Hanif Salim - Consul General of Indonesia in Ho Chi Minh City before he ended his term in Vietnam.

Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien hopes that Mr. Hanif Salim, as well as his successor, will continue to support Can Tho city in promoting cooperation between Can Tho and Indonesia, providing information on investment opportunities, calling for investments from Indonesian enterprises in several areas such as processing industry; high-tech agriculture; tourism; logistics, etc. Moreover, he also expects the Indonesian Consulate General to promote the potential, investment opportunities, and image of Can Tho city to Indonesian investors in the coming time.

Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien also highly agrees with the proposal from Mr. Hanif Salim on opening a direct flight from Can Tho to Indonesia and vice versa to create opportunities in terms of investment cooperation and traveling for both sides.
