The “Artistic Kite Season” takes place from March 1 to March 16, starting each day at 3 p.m. and ending at 9 p.m.
The program’s activities include the release and performance of giant kites by teams and individuals, demonstrations of traditional kites, sports kite performances, and cultural entertainment programs.
Each day, thousands of locals and tourists visit to experience kite-flying and join in the lively atmosphere of the kite season.
The 586 Square area also offers various entertainment and culinary services for visitors, adding to the joyful and spirited ambiance.

Additionally, this year, Can Tho has another beautiful kite-flying spot attracting thousands of residents and tourists: the Nam Long 2 residential area (Hung Thanh Ward, Cai Rang District). Colorful kites soaring above rows of luxurious townhouses create a breathtaking scene.
