Can Tho has organized many new events and programs to attract tourists during this year's National Day holidays, including art programs to celebrate the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day; the National Motor Racing Championship; the opening of a new night food street in Ninh Kieu District.

During the National Day holidays, the authorities in Can Tho increased inspections at tourist wharves and strictly handled violations to ensure the safety of tourists and maintain the security and order of the city.
