Two exhibitions featuring Mau Than General Offensive 1968 spring and Paris Peace Accords open in Can Tho city

The photo exhibition "55 years of the Tet Offensive - Unfading memories" and the thematic display “The Paris Agreement on Vietnam - The Door to Peace”, organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city, were opened on the morning of December 13th at Can Tho Museum.
Secretary of Can Tho city Party Committee Le Quang Manh and leaders of Can Tho city visited the photo exhibitions featuring Mau Than General Offensive 1968 spring and Paris Peace Accords at Can Tho Museum.

The exhibitions had the presence of Mr. Le Quang Manh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Can Tho city Party Committee, head of the National Assembly Delegation of Can Tho city; Mr. Pham Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of Can Tho city Party Committee, Chairman of Can Tho city People's Council; Mr. Le Tan Thu, Head of the Organizing Committee of the Can Tho city Party Committee; Mr. Duong Tan Hien, Standing Vice Chairman of Can Tho city People's Committee; Mr. Nguyen Thuc Hien, Vice Chairman of Can Tho city People's Committee; former leaders of Can Tho …

This is an activity in the series of events to welcome the new year “Celebrating the Lunar New Year 2023 – Celebrating the glorious Party”.

The “55 years of Mau Than 1968 – Unfading memories” exhibition displays 60 photos and many valuable items depicting historical stories and memories of the army and people of Can Tho in particular, and the southern region and the whole country in general in the resistance war against foreign invaders, for national liberation and reunification.

Meanwhile, the “The Paris Agreement on Vietnam – The Door to Peace” exhibition comprises of over 150 documents, objects, and photos highlighting the efforts of Vietnamese people for the negotiations, signing, and enforcement of the Paris Peace Accords. These events contribute to increasing the people's confidence and trust in the leadership of the Party and Government.

The “55 years of Mau Than 1968 – Unfading memories” photo exhibition will remain until December 23rd. Meanwhile, the “The Paris Agreement on Vietnam – The Door to Peace” thematic exhibition will remain until April 10th, 2023.
