The contest aims to find new and interesting stories about Can Tho tourism. It is open to all Vietnamese people at home and abroad as well as foreigners who can write Vietnamese. Contestants can share their experiences, stories about the land, lifestyle of indigenous people, culture, history, customs, festivals, tourism potentials, tourism products and the cuisine of Can Tho

Submissions must be in Vietnamese with a maximum of 1,500 words in length. Each author can submit up to 5 works. Entries can be typed, printed on paper, or handwritten on A4 size paper and all must be signed by the author at the bottom of the page of the entry. The work submitted to the contest must clearly state the author's first and last name (pseudonym), year of birth, occupation, contact address, email, and phone number.

The contest prize structure includes one First Prize worth of 10,000,000 VND; two Second Prizes, each worth 7,000,000 VND; three Third Prizes, each worth 4,000,000 VND; 5 Consolation Prizes, each worth 1,500,000 VND; one additional Prize - The most popular work on social networks worth 1,000,000 VND. Winners will also receive a Certificate from the Contest's Organizing Board.

The winning works will be widely promoted on the website of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Can Tho city; the Tourism Development Center of Can Tho city; Smart Travel Portal and published on newspapers, radio stations, related units, etc. In addition, the winning works will be published in the book “Stories about Can Tho Tourism” for the promotion and propaganda in cultural, sports, and tourism activities, contributing to the city's tourism development.

The deadline for entry submission is June 30, 2022. The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in September 2022.
