Attending the opening ceremony, there were Major General Huynh Chien Thang, Member of the Executive Committee of the Central Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commission of Military Region 9; Mr. Tran Viet Truong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee, Provincial Propaganda and Training Commission and leaders of the Municipal Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and the departments, divisions, unions and people’s armed forces of Can Tho city.

Representatives at the exhibition, visiting typical objects related to the Offensive and Rebellion of 1968 Mau Than Spring

The exhibition introduced to visitors 200 typical photos, documents and objects related to the Offensive and Rebellion of 1968 Mau Than Spring, jointly held by the Military Region 9 Museum, Vietnam Military - History Museum and other museums in the Mekong Delta.

Visiting the exhibition

The exhibition, entitled “Ban hung ca Xuan Mau Than 1968” is also an opportunity for young people today understand more about the value of life in peaceful environment, raising love of the nation, will of independence, self-control, and national pride. Thus, it helps us strongly believe in the role of the Party’s leadership, firmly protect the nation of the socialist of Viet Nam and carry out the renewal of building and developing the nation.

The exhibition will take place from January 16 to February 28, 2018 at the Military Region 9 Museum. It opens at 7:30 am - 11:00 am, and 13:30 pm - 16:30 pm.
