At the meeting, Sub- Propaganda Committee of Media Information, Environment and Sub- Logistic Committee have implemented a detailed plan on propaganda, media information and environment to support Food Security Week and Dialogue on High – Level Policies about Food Security, Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change Adaptation in Can Tho city.

At this time, the logistics and receptions has basically finished. Publications promoting the image of Can Tho city and gifts for delegates have already prepared. Sub- Logistic Committee has also developed a plan to meet bilaterally between leaders of Can Tho city and leaders of some economies and completed the plan to organize a tourism festival namely, “Flower Garland Night” for participant representatives. The work training volunteers in welcoming and serving delegates was implemented.

At the meeting, Mr. Dao Anh Dung, Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho, suggested that the Department of Information and Communication should create the best condition for reporters to work during the event. Can Tho Urban Development Joint Stock Company in collaboration with Ninh Kieu district should have a detailed plan to ensure the lights, especially the art lights along the streets. The Vice Chairman also requested that the art lights on Pedestrian Bridge and Can Tho Bridge must be regularly switched on during the event and there should be a plan to collect rubbish to make sure the areas surrounding the event be bright, green, clean and beautiful.
