Through 30 paintings in oil paintings and watercolors, painter Manoël Pillard deeply depicted the gentle and deep- lying beauty of the Mekong River, the simple and dynamic life of Can Tho inhabitants and clusters of people living along the Mekong River sites. His works had a quiet color and layout, strong and definitive lines with architecture and structure, but also very romantic and delicate, making the viewer have the feeling of lively images of life on the banks of the rivers, canals towards Bien Hoa, Cai Be and Can Tho.
