Prior to this meeting, on February 2nd, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dung chaired the working session regarding the establishment Can Tho Hi-tech Park with the DOST. After listening to the report presented by the DOST and the Project Management Unit 1 (PMU 1), and the ideas from the participants of  the meeting, the Vice Chairman required the Department of Construction, the Department of Planning and Investment, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, and the Department of Finance to support the DOST and the PMU 1 to complete the proposal on establishing Can Tho Hi-tech Park in the March of 2017.

The Vice Chairman also required the PMU 1 and the DOST to finalize the proposal and submit it to the Ministry of Science and Technology as required. He also requested the Department of Home Affairs to counsel the People’s Committee of Can Tho City on transferring the Vietnam - Korea Incubator Park to the DOST.
