The 26^th Red Phoenix - Flower Festival of Can Tho City 2017 took place in two days (August 30 - 31, 2017) to offer opportunities for K-9 children in the whole city to meet and exchange culture, art and sports. Also, the festival contributed to the development of talents, aesthetics of children as well as trained their health, personality, creativity and integration skills.

This year festival gathered the participation of 250 children of kindergarten, elementary school, secondary school from 9 districts in the city with many activities, such as: art performance contest; painting competition; chess competition; folk games; visiting children’s bookstore and booths sharing tools for learning; watching children’s films...

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Van Tam, Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Can Tho city, Head of the Organizing Board said that the Red Phoenix - Flower Festival has become a regular activity of the city. This also expressed the interest that the departments, unions, parents and teachers paid for K-9 children. The target of the festival was safety, joyfulness, economy, and effectiveness to develop the talents, health and soft skills for K-9 children.
